  • 450 g vegan alternative to smoked pork chop
  • 500 g sauerkraut
  • 1 onion
  • 1 ½ tbsp sunflower oil
  • vegetable stock
  • 1 apple
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 4 juniper berries
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt
  • 8 small waxy potatoes
  • sesame
  • flour
  1. Wash potatoes with peel, halve and place on a greased baking sheet, sprinkled with sesame, with the cutting side down. Salt lightly and cook for 25 minutes at 180°C.
  2. Wash sauerkraut und tear to little pieces. Peel onion and cut into small strips. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onion, sauerkraut, juniper berries and bay leaves. Pour in vegetable stock and add diced apple. Cook for 25 minutes and season with salt and sugar.
  3. Halve vegan alternative to smoked pork chop, turn in the flour and fry on both sides in hot oil (2-3 minutes).
  4. Serve sauerkraut with potatoes and smoke pork chop alternative.
